We asked her questions about the development of Polker.
INTRODUCTION
Q~ Thanks for joining us today, could you introduce yourself and the team background to our community firstly ?
A~ I am Tanya, an Admin Manager and Social Media Moderator for Polker. I help build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification. I moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community. I also deal with queries that come in via our social media accounts and email, tracking them down, and making sure that the issues are resolved quickly and satisfactorily.
Polker is made up of diverse, talented individuals from different parts of the globe, with backgrounds in finance, social media, gaming, crypto, dev, architecture, customer service, etc. We currently have 50-plus fulltime employees – 14 from the dev team team, while 6 of them are dedicated UE developers.
Q~ Could you briefly introduce the game, Polker to us and it’s model ?
A~ Polker.Game is the first blockchain based, Free to Play & Play to Earn, Poker NFT metaverse game that uses Unreal Engine 4 for immersive and powerful gameplay while utilizing a provably fair system and TRNG technology.
We plan to launch on platforms such as iOS, Android, Windows, and streaming platforms with intended support for next-gen VR, with stunning 3D characters, visual effects, and environments. Our gaming metaverse combines virtual reality with the endless possibilities of blockchain technology. Users will be able to enjoy immersive graphics and play among each other within the metaverse. They’ll also be able to edit the graphics and create a personalized gaming experience.

Q~ Could you share the current achievements and do you plan launching any products soon, what should we look forward to in the coming year?
A~ Well, we have released our beta on 11/11/2021 11 AM UTC. We have just completed our third beta run which included basic NFT integration. The full game with NFTs will be launched first quarter of 2022. VR development is already ongoing and should be ready early next year. Mobile games will be available by third quarter of 2022.
Our metaverse will be expanded by the fourth quarter of 2022, along with new games that will be launched.
Our current staking pool went live in September and will end on 12/25/2021. BSC staking will be live on 12/25/2021 11 AM UTC.

QUESTIONS FROM BITCOINTALK
Q~ The launch of Beta 3 went live on December 18th, can you tell us the significance of this upgrade, and what key features were introduced alongsides this upgrade ?
A~ The third beta run, which was just concluded a few hours ago, included basic NFT integration and these are the few changes we have made:
Added in NFT support for player new accounts. New and old players now have private in-game wallets linked to account.
Added in NFT collection showcase for browsing owned NFTs and showing 3D/2D content linked to NFT utility.
Addressed several hand ranking issues.
Created more tables and removed unnecessary ones.
Delayed winner animation until AFTER river card was shown for better effect.
Hand history is now displayed in chat. We will enable this into blockchain in the coming weeks and roll out our TRNG/PF systems.
Our lead dev had provided the changelog for 50 items and he and his wonderful and hardworking team had resolved bugs identified by our beta testers as well as added features that they have recommended.
Q~ According to your site, you said polker is a fair game, but will owning an NFT increase your chances of winning a game. What are the benefits of owning an NFT.
Secondly, is there a market for the NFT currently ?
A~ It doesn’t. Each rarity of NFT will have different in-game functions ranging from differing amounts of in-game rewards to different staking benefits out of game. As mentioned earlier, the NFTs can be used in- game as a cosmetic changes.

We did an auction for our ultra rare holo and the winning bid was 3.3 ETH.

QUESTIONS FROM TWITTER
Q~ I notice that Polker is a play-to-earn game, but every (or nearly every) play-to-earn game demands a huge initial deposit before users can begin playing. As a result, I’m curious if users will be required to make an initial deposit in order to begin playing Polker ?
A~ Polker is entirely free to play, so there is no barrier to entry. To access the play-to-earn option, you will need an initial buy in of PKR, and potentially other accepted crypto currency. At the lowest level (5 USD) this doubles your EXP gain, doubles your play chip gain, allows access to tickets, NFTs and the tournament game function.
The tickets are what we use to enter tournament games and only paid users can access this system. From there, the winner takes all in a single elimination, no buy-back tournament (you can also play heads up!) You can use these tickets to purchase NFTs, in game cosmetic items, upgrades to the PKR pass, social upgrades (harass your friends and rivals with emotes).
Q~ I could see that one of the pending objectives within POLKER’s roadmap is the awarding of several patents. Exactly what aspects of your platform have you patented? What innovative elements of POLKER have you decided to protect in this way ?
A~ We have the Multi Crypto Marketplace, which is a unique protocol that allows users/gamers to use their cryptocurrency of choice whilst displaying the live value in the fiat currency of choice. The live price data is pulled from an oracle so that all parties involved have accurate price data displayed in the currency of choice.
For e-commerce applications, this forms a simple checkout process allowing multiple cryptocurrencies to be implemented without the confusion of multiple chains and wallet usage.
This protocol can be used outside of Polker.game as well. They can be used by other companies as this can be integrated in online gaming platforms, e-commerce, and any other platform which requires a multi-currency application.
Xiaolin: So have you gotten any patents for them?
Tanya : That has already been granted. :)
Q~ Each project created has its own mission and goals, so what are “Polker’ ‘missions and goals in the future? How important “Polker’ will be to everyone in the future ?
A~ We aim to create a user-intuitive platform for cryptoheads, gamers, and those with no knowledge of gaming. Right now, one of the barriers to entry to blockchain is required technical knowledge, and we also aim to reduce that barrier. Polker’s goal is to be at the forefront of projects that allow easy access to both crypto, NFTs, gaming, and the metaverse world that we are growing.
QUESTIONS FROM TELEGRAM
Q~ Many gaming platforms have a constraint that only allows them to be used on desktop computers; does Polker have the same restriction, or can it be used normally on mobile devices?
A~ We will initially release the game for desktops, but the mobile version will be available on the third quarter of 2022.
Q~ In your game #POLKER_PKR how can the gamer learn from the experience that makes them so veteran and powerful? How will NFT be used to power operational heroes? What innovative functions can these NFTs provide and how can they trade in the market?
A~ With our provably fair system, we actually store every gameplay action and value as a hash in a smart contract on the blockchain. By taking the raw values and hashing them, you are able to compare and verify the results independently to prove there was no manipulation, and also to review the game. Aside from having innate value, the NFTs can be used for in-game cosmetics and can be traded in the market-in-game and secondary markets. We are also exploring utilities for the NFTs outside of the Polker.game.
Q~ Can you give us details about the patented and patent-pending technology Polker use? How can this tech improve the user experience?
A~ Sure! I mentioned our multi-crypto currency protocol earlier. We have our TRNG and our Provably Fair System as well.
True Random Number Generator is a provably fair and auditable technology that uses both SHA-256 hashing in combination with blockchain technology. The protocol uses seed words from the users (typically players) combined with a seed word from the PKR protocol. The resulting SHA-256 hash is then used to interact with a smart contract on the blockchain network. The resulting block header from this transaction is used to create a provably fair random number.
I have also mentioned the provably fair system earlier. To recap, our Provably Fair System, which uses the potential of the blockchain to provide full transparency in every aspect of gameplay by using our multiple patents granted technology, ensures that the player is fully protected against fraud and cheating. We store every gameplay action and value as a hash in a smart contract on the blockchain. By taking the raw values and hashing them, you are able to compare and verify the results independently to prove there was no manipulation.
Q~ Is this your project only for elite investors, how about others with small funds, is it open to everyone?
A~ Polker.game is open to everyone, regardless of wallet size or experience in crypto investing. As I have mentioned earlier, we aim to reduce the barrier to entry that blockchain has requiring technical knowledge right now. Also, we have a vibrant and supportive community and we believe in open discourse and feedback from community, regardless of differing opinions. We treat everyone the same as the core principles of PKR are Diversity, Versatility, Fairness, and Transparency.
Q~ In a previous AMA session they mentioned that they were in discussion with multiple exchanges and had the intention of being included in one or more main exchanges, what have been their progress in this regard and what is the current status of Polker in the DEX or CEX listings or both inclusive?
A~ We are listed in DEX and CEX. We are already listed in Uniswap, Pancakeswap, Bitmart, Bittrex, and HOO. We will be announcing another CEX listing in the next few days, just awaiting their go-ahead before we can make the official announcement. For more details on how you can get $PKR, you may visit
